Best Review: Having become a legend, Puss in Boots is having fun with the locals. On the eve of saving the city, he loses his penultimate life. He teams up with a lost love – Kitty and a strange dog to find the star of the last wish.
Actors: I was terribly afraid for Antonio. I was eagerly waiting for Puss in Boots in his performance. After 11 years (I can’t believe it), he’s back! His hero realizes the value of every moment until it’s too late. One thing confused the image of the cat – it’s a huge hat that grew up with his pride.
The duet of Hayek and Banderas resembles a “Desperate” in which lovebirds were also preparing for an important event. Loneliness is what one of the heroes is used to. We are told in parts the reason for the parting of the Kitty with the Cat after the first part, but they have a chance to look at the world with different eyes. Literally, the charm of cats will reach its peak. But the Cat got a beard, so it’s a triple touching sight! I am glad that Salma Hayek has returned to the role of a charming Soft-footed woman.
Death itself deserves special attention, presented in wolf form, walking on the heels.
Everything else: The continuation of the spin-off turned out better than the first one. If there was little magic in the first part (even from magic beans), then in the second – the creators use it completely. It’s a pity, of course, that the sequel got there after 11 years. Antonio Banderas survived the attack, and Salma Hayek (it seems) got out of the habit of the image of the Kitty Myagolapka – both still returned to their favorite cartoon. Moreover, the Cat – in the new story – is on the verge of life and death, when he will have to choose which side he is on. He will have to make a difficult choice. To be saved and live happily ever after, as if nothing had happened. The main thing is not to let down new friends. A brand new and funny dog appeared among them. The hero Harvey Guillen doesn’t care about feni. He is a naive and simple-minded dog psychologist.
I do not want to deprive the attention of Easter eggs, which fit very nicely into the history of the Cat. The Puss in Boots prequel was an elegant backstory and spin-off. This is already a sequel flowing smoothly to the Shrek universe.
A low bow to the creators for the return of the Cat saying ‘Oh!’. Let the hero appear for a short time. Now it’s clear where he ran off to after the Glitter box cat bar.
They deserve the attention of antagonists. The heart rejoices at the appearance of Goldilocks and three bears (the girl and the Baby are clearly not in harmony). On the day when a lonely orphan invaded their home, the world around the bears began to feel right.
Only the chubby hero Jack Horner (I don’t remember from which fairy tale) does not stand out in something special. There must be a ruthless villain in every fairy tale. Here he turned out to be faceless and unscrupulous.
If we talk about conscience, then if Pinocchio was shown in the flashback, then it would be more logical to show an identical image of Jimmini cricket from the short film “Shrek’s Halloween”. Artists painted a cricket like a frog.
Many heroes regret the missed opportunities. The cat (with nine lives) had to appreciate friendship and self-sacrifice, for the sake of loved ones. For Goldilocks, it is finding happiness, although she forgets that it is nearby.
I liked the musical theme, which vividly reflects the adventures of the Cat.
I was pleased with the drawing. It was not without animation, which was applied by the new creators (the graphics resemble ‘Spider-Man: Across the Universes’).
Impressions: Value your own life, fight for it. She’s the only one we have. There won’t be another one like this.
